Mathematics

The mathematics department at Citrus is committed to providing a high quality, rigorous math education to all of its students.

Math Requirements

To graduate from Citrus, 30 credits of high school math must be completed. Algebra I must be completed by all students. The Algebra I requirement may be completed by either completing Algebra I in one year for 10 credits, or by completing both Algebra A and B over the span of two years for 20 credits. The remaining credits can be earned through the approved courses listed below.

During the 2008/2009 school year, our department adopted the Glenco series for our math textbooks. These books have many online resources such as student workbooks, homework help and online calculators. For our CAHSEE prep classes, we adopted "Measuring Up".
